Warriors On kNees for Warriors Of Need

Leaders Guidelines

Philippians 2:1-18

God is the center of all we do.  Our attitude should be that of Christ Himself.  We must strive as leaders to have a daily walk with the Lord, having a heart of prayer and worship in all we do.

Unity of mind and purpose.  Being like minded, serving with an attitude of worship unto our God, agreeing on our statement of faith, and the purpose we are serving in this ministry.

Integrity in all we do and say.  Being honest when situations may arise that could cause you to compromise.  Only share those prayer requests that you have been given permission to share from the warrior.  Be trustworthy, remembering the needs of others above our own.

Devoted to follow through with the commitment you have made.  You are the example your squad will follow. Having an attitude of worship unto our Lord in all we do will spread to those you are leading. We ask that when possible, try to give at least two weeks notice if you must resign.

Embrace those in your Squad and the warriors you are supporting by coming along side them and encouraging them in positive and helpful ways.  There may be times when you are called to make a sacrifice of your own to help those in this ministry.  We are each others servants.

Lead those in your squad as a person people will want to follow.  Keep in mind the needs of those you are leading.  If someone has an idea that you may disagree with, thank them for the idea and let them know you’ll mention it to your leader. This keeps their flame burning.

Ignore negative talk. Especially when opinions arise about the war, pour water on the flame, before it becomes a fire.  Whether we like it or not, we are at war and our warriors need our support.  Encourage anyone you come in contact with and remind them of our purpose. We all can have our opinions, we just need not voice them.

Never say never.  Remember with God all things are possible.  We should serve expecting the unexpected.   Know that our acts of kindness are acts of love from the Lord who can do far beyond what we can ever imagine. Be positive!

Encourage those in your squad and anyone that you come in contact with regarding this ministry that God is always in control.  Be a contagious encourager so others will catch the flame in you and flame others with the same passion to support our warriors and their families.

Seek the Lord and keep praying for Him to reveal himself to those warriors who are not yet believers.  The greatest support we can give to our warriors is to share with them the free gift of salvation through Christ our Lord and Savior. Pray for the salvation of many.  Remember to seek the Lord before you write, before you speak and before you act.
